# Which resources count against my Arpio subscription?

## An overview of billable resource types in Arpio

Part of Arpio's pricing relates to the size of the workloads it is protecting. Although Arpio can protect most everything in your AWS environment, you are only charged for a small number of "core" resources.

If you're a current customer, you can access a report of your current core resource utilization by navigating to **Account \> License Count** in your Arpio Console.

The **AWS** core resources that are included in your Arpio license are as follows:

| **AWS Resource** | **Resource Counted** |
| --- | --- |
| Amazon Aurora | Primary Instances and Replicas |
| Amazon Bedrock AgentCore | Runtimes |
| Amazon Cognito | Cognito User Pools |
| Amazon DocumentDB | Primary Instances and Replicas \*Grouped under RDS DB Instances in the billable resources report |
| Amazon DynamoDB | DynamoDB Tables |
| Amazon EC2 | EC2 instances |
| EC2 Auto Scaling Group | Count of EC2 instances in the ASG, not to exceed 10 (maximum 10 per ASG) |
| Amazon Elastic Beanstalk | EC2 instances managed by Elastic Beanstalk Environments, max 10 per Environment |
| Amazon Elastic Container Registry | ECR repositories |
| Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) | - EC2 - Auto Scaling Groups or Capacity Providers, captured as an ASG, max 10 - Fargate - Provisioned Memory; each 4GB counting as a core resource, max 10 core resource per task definition |
| Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) | EFS file systems |
| Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) | - EC2 - Managed NodeGroups, Kubernetes Cluster Autoscaler, and similar autoscaling compute units, max 10 core resources each - Fargate - Provisioned Memory; each 4GB counting as a core resource, max 10 core resources per Kubernetes resource (i.e. deployment) |
| Amazon ElastiCache | Cache Nodes |
| Amazon Lambda | Lambda Functions; 4 functions per core resource |
| Amazon OpenSearch Service | OpenSearch Nodes |
| Amazon Redshift Clusters | Redshift Cluster Nodes |
| Amazon Redshift Serverless | Base Compute Capacity Per Workgroup - 4 RPUs per core resource |
| Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) | Primary Instances and Replicas |
| Amazon S3 | S3 Buckets |
| AWS Transfer Family | SFTPS Servers |
| FSx for ONTAP | FSx SVMs |
| FSx for Windows | FSx File Systems |
| Spot Elastigroup by NetApp | Capacity Target Value, max 10 per Elastigroup |

The **Azure** core resources that are included in your Arpio license are as follows:

| **Azure Resource** | **Resource Counted** |
| --- | --- |
| Virtual Machines | VM instances |
| VM Scale Sets | Count of VM instances in the VMSS, not to exceed 10 (maximum 10 per VMSS) |
| Azure App Service (Web & Function Apps) | Sites |
| Azure Container Apps | Container App |
| Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) | - AKS Nodes - VMSS instances, max 10 - Virtual Nodes - Azure Container Instances; with maximum of 4GB counting as a core resource, max 10 core resource per task definition |
| Container Registry | Repositories |
| Container Instance | Container Groups |
| Azure SQL DB (not on VM) | Databases |
| Azure Storage - Blobs | Blob containers |
| Azure Key Vault | Vaults |
| Azure SQL DB for PostgreSQL | Flexible Servers (not databases within them) |
