How to update the CloudFormation templates for an Arpio application stack
In the Arpio console:
1. Navigate to Application > Settings gear > Wait for It's time for an upgrade! banner to load at the top. This checks the newest template version against your existing template to generate release notes. If the release notes are not relevant for your workloads, you can ignore this update.
2. Click the UPDATE NOW button. This enables you to copy the latest templates; clicking the button does not initiate any changes to your environment.
3. Click the Clipboard Copy icon for your Primary Environment.
In the AWS console:
4. Navigate to your Primary account & region and open CloudFormation.
5. Select the stack associated with this application, as specified in the Arpio console. In the above example, the Primary stack is "ArpioApp1-Primary".
Click Update > Replace Existing Template > Paste the template URL from Arpio into the Amazon S3 URL field.
6. Return to the Arpio console and click "Test Access" to confirm your changes. This may take 1-2 minutes to reflect the update.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 for your Recovery Environment.
