Details about Transit Gateway replication with Arpio
Transit Gateway
Arpio replicates Transit Gateways, and all of their attachments and route tables, to the recovery environment.
The following attributes are translated when replicating Transit Gateways to the recovery environment:

If a Transit Gateway has a VPC or peering attachment that is being replicated, it is translated to the Arpio managed recovery account. |

If Transit Gateway has a route table that is being replicated, it is translated to the Arpio managed recovery account. |

RAM Resource Share |
If the Transit Gateway is being shared via RAM, we translate the Resource Share to the Arpio managed recovery environment. |
Transit Gateway Route Table
Arpio replicates selected Transit Gateway Route Tables from your primary environment to your recovery environment.
If a Transit Gateway Route Table in your primary environment is the default propagation or default association route table for its Transit Gateway, its replica in the recovery environment will be the default route table for the corresponding Transit Gateway.
You may manually add routes to other target types. For example, you can add static routes to the recovery transit gateway route table, and Arpio will retain those routes when it applies new recovery points to the environment.

The following resources are automatically selected into recovery points when a Route Table is selected:
- The Transit Gateway associated with the route table
- Any Managed Prefix List References
- Any Attachment with a static route or any attachment that has an association or propagation to the route table
Transit Gateway Attachment
Arpio replicates selected Transit Gateway Attachments from your primary environment to your recovery environment.
The following attributes are translated during replication:

The following resources are automatically selected into recovery points when a Transit Gateway Attachment is selected:
- The VPC if the attachment is of type VPC.
- The Subnet if the attachment is of type VPC.
- The Transit Gateway if the attachment is of type Peering.
- Any Transit Gateway Route Table associated, propagated, or has routes to the attachment.
